What to Expect

We know it can be intimidating coming to a new place with new faces. So here's some things you can expect when you visit:

  • A Worshipful Experience

You'll see a worship band that leads us in worshiping God with modern songs and hymns.  You can feel free to stand up, raise your hands, and sing as loud as you can or sit down, close your eyes, and listen to the words and music.

  • Practical Teaching

You'll hear a message that will help you connect the truths of the bible to your life.  Through faithfully teaching what the bible says, you'll be able to know how to apply it to everyday life.

  • fun Kid zone program

Your kids will have fun and learn about God through safe and age-appropriate games, activities, and lessons.  You’ll check them in each Sunday at our Check-In desk using a special labeling system.  All of our kids ministry volunteers must pass background checks and have a heart for kids and families.

  • Casual dress

We care about YOU, not what you’re wearing, so feel free to come in jeans or whatever is comfortable. Our dress code is simple: wear something.

  • nice people

We LOVE it when someone comes for the first time. But, we don’t always recognize first-time visitors because so many people who come are still fairly new.  So feel free to tell one of our greeters, “This is my first time” and we’ll guide you in!

  • good coffee

Not only do you get a good cup of coffee, but you can know that your free cup of coffee has gone to support orphan care in the process (www.gobena.org).
